Under Armour has always been at the forefront of creative thinking. The finest technical apparel helps the best athletes in the world become better and more efficient at doing what they do. UA leads the charge in capturing this experience with powerful, gritty imagery that showcases what it takes to be the best athlete. 

In a series of photo shoots that are all captured with a large format camera on a 4x5 inch sheet of film, I aim to bring out who these athletes are, as humans, in an intimate, powerful series of studio-based portraits. The resulting collection of photographs will make the athletes seem larger than life, but, more importantly, connect the viewer with them. The styling of composition, lighting and overall feel of the final photographs will carefully blur the lines between editorial, advertising and fine art photography.
